I was thinking I could install the vq37vhr in my 07 coupe but I'm now thinking it's too much work. The vq37vhr is a 2009 with 69,000 miles on it. I'm looking to trade for a 07 vq35de rev up or sell the vq37vhr? Anybody interested? Or does anybody have a wiring harness that will work with the 37 motor in my g35?

 

DE to VQ37VHR is basically a non-starter unfortunately. DE to HR swap yes since the rest of the computers in the HR and DE cars use the same bitrate, VHR computers use a different bitrate though so the ECM/BCM won't talk to the IPDM, instrument cluster, etc.

 

What if I use the iPdm. instrument cluster ,ECU wiring harness etc.?

 

Will the transmission work the 6-speed transmission that's in my '07 G35

 

So what I'm talking about doing is using the g37 vhr with the wiring harness that it came with the ECU and the other electronics including the dash and only using my 6-speed transmission from my '07 g35de but the rest of it would be from the g37 which is a '09. So what I'm asking is will my transmission work with that setup
