Hey guys thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Long story short the BCM in my G35X got fried. No dash lights no crank etc. Ordered a used one on Ebay and now i’m getting dash lights etc. The dash is saying no key. I know I have to reprogram the BCM for my fobs. I ordered the wire for my lap top m, and I’m trying to find the right software. I’ve seen some posts about Nissan Data Scan 2 working for my 2008g35x m, is this correct? Second question are there any free dow loads available? I’ve seen the phone versions of NDSII for ios and samsung , do they work to reprogram the keys/BCM? I’m computer savvy but have never done this. Can someone run me through it in here? Thanks again!

Compared to paying somebody to do this for you, it's pretty cheap. I bought a couple extra fobs for a car that only came with one off ebay for really short money. The fact that people have figured out how to do this with dongles means this must be possible to diy/hack but unless you want to make a project of it, stuff like this is quick and easy. I don't know if NDS can do it. I bought NDS for my 06 and I don't recall it doing all that much for me. I haven't used it in years and years. The proprietary cable and licensing was a hassle and after I had a hard drive fail trying to restore it was just too much trouble. Good luck.
