^winter tires really make a difference.
i just purchased a set of Bridgestone Blizzacks WS50

try some Poorboy wheel sealent, from what I read its suppose to clear that up pretty good, just my 2 Cents, read up on it.

 

thats because your trying to drive a rwd car with nearly 300 hp in the snow without winter tires...

 

- Cannot get more than 18 gallons in alleged 20 gallon tank even when I drive 30 miles past EMPTY - ZERO MILES LEFT. I want to use ALL 20 gallons!
- Trunk opening decreased by CD magazine.
- No Automatic Door Lock option when car is in motion.
- Drivers seat bottom does not tilt enough.
- Expensive Bridgstone Potenza tires with short life - but it is worth the excellent handling.
- Fingernails scratch paint when opening doors. Ugly scratch marks on all doors.

only complaint i have is the thin *** factory paint. Seems like a leaf scraches the hell out my car.

 

Left air vent has been replaced because of creeking/cracking noise, starting to notice the noise gradually returning.
Clutch pedal was replaced over summer, no click return yet.
Seat bracket replaced for a 2nd time a couple months, no movement yet.

 

Seems like there is a creek noise in the driver side door panel as well, can be annoying when driving long distance.

 

i HATE the freaking seatbelt rubbing all up on ur neck.. i have an 05... i know the 03-05's have jackt up seatbelts... they rub soooo bad on ur neck.. after driving for 17yrs, i got into my first accident with my 03... my neck was so jackt up, i had a huge rugburn about 8in long and a scar now from it.. i tie a thick rubberband on the belt together, making it adjustable, and away from my neck since i bought my 05 brand new.
i HATE my service, which was at TUSTIN INFINITI.. better now.. Riverside Infiniti FTW..!!
i HATE that there is no memory seats on my model.
i HATE the soft paint, but mine is babied.. but you have to baby it toooo much. OB
i HATE the stock BOSE system .. it BLOWS.. have custom system..SIIIICK
i HATE our cheap headlights, got 06's now, they still blow..
i HATE my ebrake.. have to adjust it toooo much.
i HATE how easy the corner lights come out.. they're gunna get ripped off..!
i HATE how fast the stock tires wore out..
i HATE how fast black gets dirty... BUT it looks best when it's clean. my 5th black car.!!
i HATE that there is no Brake Fluid Cover in the Engine Bay. Bought JDM Battery Cover
i HATE all the problems i have had but fixed under warranty:
1. 3 clutch pedals
2. slave cylinder
3. 2 window motors
4. passenger door lock actuator
5. Power Steering Pump
6. Transmission at 40k
7. OC Motor
8. Bad Creaking noise in front suspension for 1week.. it went away. dealer thought i crashed into a curb.. i cant believe it hasn't come back..


HAHA... I know there is more... Other than that.. the car is great..LOL

TUSTIN INFINITI can suck it, too..

EVERYONE .. if you live in SoCal.. RIVERSIDE INFINITI really hooks it up.. parts, service... customer satisfaction.. the way it should b..

haha thats a big rant, you went thru more problems than most g35 owners, good thing u were under warranty

 

^^ seriously.. i baby all my cars, modded most all of them, but i think the g is my favorite... i have never had any problems with any of my cars or clutch or tranny problems whatsoever.. i know how to drive.. the service manager told me my clutch was sticking because it was the way i drive.. FVckin azzhole...!!! i was like.. dood.. it's not the way i drive.. there is something wrong with it.. can u just make the car drive the way it is suppose to.. he said i had it all raced out.. and at the time i only had a stillen exhaust.. lol

WARRANTY..? True Dat..!!!

EDIT: the passenger door lock actuator went out at 61,000 miles..so i had to pay for it and install it myself... BTW at Tustin Infiniti they wanted over 300 for the part.. i got it from TONY at Riverside Infiniti for $189...

 

I'll add an additional one to my list:


- I seriously dislike the retracting-seatbelt- thing. The seatbelts never fully retract, when you undo the belt to get out it just kind of sits in the seat.

epic fail on Infiniti's part.

 

hmnmm i would have to say the damn doors... there were so many times the door would close on my damn leg...

 

I got my g coupe at the end of november and only drove it for about 300 miles before I put it away for the winter, but in that short time I found that the road noise is terrible. so bad that after only a couple of days driving I brought it back to the dealership asking them to check the wheel bearings. I thought they were shot . I realize that it is a sports car and should not expect a cushy quiet ride but not so noisy that I have to blast the radio to drown out the road noise. I have also read on this forum that the type and condition of tire makes a huge difference as well . Otherwise I can't wait to get this car back on the road this spring instead of just looking at it sitting there in my garage.
