The only one out of that list that's really a design flaw is #1.

People say the paint is soft, but all cars are scratched and chipped...especially if you buy used.

How many radio presets do you want? 12 is more than enough in my opinion.

The grinding during acceleration or braking is probably a maintenance issue.

I get the loud echoing noise when I put one or two windows down, but every car I've owned does that.

To much engine plastics.
Um, you must have an older Infiniti and back then, NO CARS had AUX CABLE. All the new Infiniti's are compatible with iPod or other devices.

Don't drop your keys. That is not the cars fault.

Small trunk space? Really. Assuming that you have a coupe, what did you expect. A larger trunk would most definitely take away from the sexiness of the car. At least the seat folds down and you can store some stuff lengthwise. I don't think anyone bought this car to haul crap around in.

All that plastic I am pretty sure is removable, but it does keep things clean. I happen to like it.

1) Can recirculate cabin air w/o turning A/C on
2) Smells like rotten egg or burning rubber on a normal cruise not sure where the F the smell it coming from. And we can't recircualte cabin-air unless we turn on the damn A/C.
3) Heat is leaking into the cabin from some where.
4) Tires don't last very long, bad alignment from factory
5) Engagement point is way too high
6) 2006 Infiniti navi sucks, Honda went touch screen in 2000.....
7) Very poor Gas Mileage. Gets the same mileage as a Toyota Land Crusier.
8) Clanking/popping, squeaking sound from all over the place
9) paper thin rear bumper. Paper thin body panel that dents real easily.

whta do you hate about your G35

I have persistant rattle coming from over the driver's left shoulder. It has been into the dealers many times and just when I thought it had been fixed, it comes back with a vengence. And now an entirley new rattle has just developed in the headliner by the driver's visor. All of the Hondas I have owned have NEVER had rattles like this!

I disagree with Honda's being built better.

I used to be a big honda fan, before I really knew what I was into. Owning a Civic SI, a Acura CL Type S, Accord EXR, and an Acura Vigor: Honda is not what people make them out to be.

The 5sp auto tranny is a FAIL: in all there cars. Never really resolved, and yes they replaced transmissions, but they all failed at one time or another (prematurely)

Oil leaks, weak gaskets, knocking / clunking: all manufactures have flaws, and I do not believe any one is better then the other.

I have a Pontiax SV6 Montana minivan, and this thing runs and drives like the day I bought it (knock on wood)

My G is good too: not major issues yet, and much better then a BMW I once owned. I like BMW's, but hate when the fanboys come out / Ginos that think the BMW is the best thing in the world (including my father in law...)

yeah honda's have had some issues...so do all cars, but statistically they have less issues...not really rocket science...and they have better fit and finish which isnt the same as reliability

my g needed a new engine when i bought it, along with half the forum...thats a pretty serious problem
