Another thing i hate about any G is its drop in resale value, im getting sick of seeing people get the G and doing dtupid stuff with them and pretty much turning them into F&F

^yea you're totally right, how can a $35,000 car drop by 50% in 7 years?

Maybe you should have bought the car in 03 and then sold it in 05.

I love my car beyond words, but if I had to pick some gripes...

1. dip stick design
2. rattling from rear of cabin when going over bumps
3. heated seats: take too long to warm up, low is too cold, high is too hot!!
4. manumatic mode: won't upshift below a certain rpm, automatically downshifts when slowing down
5. stereo: no Aux. audio input even with Bose
6. stereo: vibration during beats, even on minimal Bass level from stock Bose sub
7. stereo: sporatic "read errors" of MP3 CD's
8. no keyhole to manually open trunk from outside
9. no manual lock/unlock of fuel door via switch
10. fuel door on passenger side instead of driver
11. blind spot and limited view out the back in general
12. ECU assumes you will either ALWAYS want to rev her out or ALWAYS baby her. if you drive hard after a reset, it will hold gears extra long even when you're putting around with no throttle. annoying....
13. hood propped by a rod???
14. power window & door motors noisy in cold weather

I feel even worse for the E46 M3 guys, their cars were worth a lot more to begin with and they're contending with the same ricer crowd nowadays as we are.

My car got totaled 2 months ago and I was considering moving to a different car because there are too many ricers buying G35's nowadays, but at the end of the day I still don't think you can beat the looks and performance of this car unless you want to plunk down a lot more dough, which I didn't want to do since I'm still in school.

So I said **** it and bought another one. At the end of the day, put quality parts on your car, maintain it using quality products, and it will show. And when you you run into the riced out G35's, yours will just look, sound, and perform all the better.

That mine's automatic and not 6mt...

On a serious note:
1. dipstick design
2. gas mpg could be better cause look at v6's and v8's now, I mean a v8 covette can get some very good highway MPG.
3. Headlight access (either take off bumper or through the fenderwall after jacking car up)
4. Seperate foglights from headlights (not too big a deal but that would be great)
5. Thin paint

Just FYI you don't need to jack the car up to get through the fenderwell. You can just turn the wheel in the opposite side of where you're working. It'll give you enough room to take out the bolts.

Yeah but jacking it up gives so much more room to play with though also.

I don't think i "hate" anything about the car, but my list of prefered improvements would be gas milage, dipstick design, and the amount of work required just to replace an air filter, driver's seat headroom (for models w/ sunroof).

Dip stick design..
Seatbelt doesnt roll all the way back up
no seat memory
heated seats takes forever to warm up
sensors that need to be replaced in the future are in the tightest spots possible.

Driving a G for the past 2 months and finally stepping foot in another car makes me realize how truck like Nissans drive train is. It seems like some people just opt to ignore it but I see it as one of the cars biggest cons.

1-Dipstick
2- COld starts engine rattles
3- Axle clicking
4-Seat squeaks
5-Annoying look from people of the street when you are young and you are driving a g35, as if you have done something wrong

All above in annoying order 1 being the highest
