Let's see if I remember correctly. Info button on NAV controller. Choose Maintenance on the screen. Hope that helps.

Never worry about crush washers ever again.

I had one of these on my 3000GT. never leaked once in 80K miles.

I used to work for ACURA. We are required to change the crush washers on every oil change. The crush washer on a Acura car can be re-used but after a few oil changes the washer will start to leak. A lot of times guys will over-tighten the bolt. I highly don't recommend Jiffy lube..They are a bunch of wannabe mechanics. I fixed many cars that were serviced by those techs. Even tho dealers charge more. We fix the problems those retards mess up or independent shops do to a car.

I've changed it everytime. They're free with the filter. When I moved to WA, I went to the local dealer to get a filter and he gave me a handful to take with me.

I always have and always will (health permitting) change my own oil. I've read too many times about incompetents at the dealers or quick lubes dicking the job away.

What it boils down to is no one cares about your car as much as you do.

I'm the owner of g-owners.com and while I didn't write that article, it does say to change the washer. Here is a link to the article:
oil change

2- Put the new washer on the bolt, the end that crushes should be placed toward the car's oil pan. Screw in the plug and hand tighten. Now, tighten the rest of the way with the 14 mm socket wrench. The washer will crush as you tighten, this creates the seal. Do not over-tighten, stripping the threads on the pan is an expensive repair!

BTW, if you are going to be changing your oil yourself, get a fumotovalve. No more need to change the washer and no fishing the drain plug out of the oil pan when you accidently drop it any more. You won't regret it. Here are install instructions for that.
