3m clear bra

what do you guys think of this? Can it be done by myself? 129.95 for front end protection?

I think I should have Infiniti do it since my car is black.

All I can say is I watched when my clear bra was being installed and there is absolutely NO WAY I would try and do it myself. Coupes are even more difficult than sedans.

Don't use the dealer, just find out who they contract it out to or find another reputable shop in your area and you should be able to get a much better deal.

I second that. I was getting tired just WATCHING the installer do my bumper. This is definitely not a good DIY job.

let a shop do it, if they mess up then they'll just get another sheet at their cost, if you mess up, you're going to have to buy another.

I'm agreeing with everyone that you shouldn't install the clearbra yourself. Go to www.clearbra.com and find an authorized shop near you. I had my hood (the front half), bumper, chin spoiler, side mirrors, and headlights done for ~$550. The first four things came as a standard package, while the headlights were extra.

I paid $450 installed, but I had my GTO done by the same person for the same price. I am going to have my Mazdaspeed 6 done also as soon as it comes in from Japan in around 2 months.

Price ?!?!

I had a 3M certified (listed on 3M site) installer tell me $1200-1500 to do the front bumper, mirrors and part of the hood. For that I could have the front end repainted.

Can anyone recommend a shop that will do it? I live in S. California. And the price I was quoted was $660. That seems a bit high for me?
