the thing I find funny about forums is that you get flamed for starting new threads but you also get flamed for searching and bumping up old threads

And on a g35 forum, any fixed up honda / acura is rice. If it has a body kit or rims, It's rice.

But a Honda / Acura forum, any cars with "illest decals, or wheels that stick out like azz and tires that barely fit, painted corners to match the body paint is rice".

People on G35 wonder if they can use the cheapest gas.

People on Honda / Acura wonder if there are any benefits running premium... lol

A lot of those members have are boosted so they run premium anyways.

I find it more trivial than anything...

a random user will randomly be searching (which is a GOOD thing) and finds an interesting thread, not knowing its over 4 years ago, and replies.... it's like joining a conversation that's been going on for hours and catching it at the very end, then finally putting in your .02, except here, everyone has left the conversation!

I wouldn't be opposed to starting a new thread just because the responses now would be so different now than nearly 7 years ago...

yup it is amusing...especially when people get mad and post something angry to a bunch of people who don't even own the car anymore

Guess I'm old school. I like rims that fit right and tires that fit right. Not really feeling the stretched looked. Like they are trying to hard to put on wheels that are to wide for the car. And they force it on by running skinny tires and horrible cambers.

I wonder who has a username so similar to mine bc my windshield has no decal, so it can't be me

^^That's an old picture. Haven't had that decal for a couple months now. Hundreds of members have illest decals on their car. Do you even know what it stands for noob?

I really don't care but people with illest decals seem to be the ones who argue with me

must be some gangsta lingo

It's tied to the Northern California "urban" clothing company Fatlace.

Fatlace is behind 'marketing' the whole Hellaflush style to Nasioc and elsewhere which is why you see the stickers on cars.

Hellaflush aka Aggressive Fitment = questionable style of running too wide wheels, too low offset, and very narrow "stretched" tires... which then stick out 2" past the fender... then use camber plates to tilt the wheels enough that they "sort of" fit under the fender.

Which is why most of the 'illest' stickered cars will usually have that style of wheel/tire/suspension.
pulled that from nasioc....even lamer then I thought, and you just have oem wheels(not a bad thing) so you didnt have any business having that sticker anyway

Haha you probably googled it after I replied to see what it meant, cuz you thought it was a statement like I have the illest sedan or something. Shows your lack of knowledge. Coupe 19"s are technicallu aftermarket wheels that happen to come standard on some of the sport coupe models since they're made by Rays engineering, they're forged wheels and just cuz they're oem doesn't make me ashamed on rocking them. This wheels are the dealer are like $1500 each. The offsets are pretty flush on the sedan hence the decal, they'll be even more flush soon once I get the spacers in the back.

any wheel from the dealer is going to have an inflated price tag, I almost bought a set of those for $500 on ebay which is the samething I paid for them, they are not aftermarket, aftermarket just means equipment that isn't put on the car by the manufacturer, those are oem from a different model of your car. most oem wheels are made by manufacturers who also make aftermarket wheels, enkei makes toyota and honda oem alloys.

why should you be ashamed to be "rocking" oem wheels? you are the one who says aftermarket is always better then oem

how could you tell that I googled it? was it the quote from a random website

i just think its amusing that you talk all this **** to me yet as soon as i said something about the illest sticker and the chrome autozone g35 letters on your console they disappeared

the ones you saw on ebay probably had curb rash all around the rims. If not then you sir are either poor or a moron to pass on them and keep the ugly 17"s with balloon tires. The coupe 19"s are one of the best oem rims that you can get without paying an arm and a leg. Perhaps i didn't word my sentence properly, they're made by a reputable company that makes great aftermarket wheels, those enkei's you mentioned aren't forged btw. I never said aftermarket is always better than oem i just said your car is all stock so who are you to bash people who mod their cars?. Is obvious that you googled "illest" because everytime you tried saying something about the decal you would say i heard sedans are the illest cars is that true or something along those lines. I'm undecisive i do mods temporarily or to experiment and if i get tired of it or change my mind i take them off. The main reason i took the decal off is because the color didn't match my car, and you weren't the only one who liked the g35 emblems so i didn't remove them because you said so

i didnt feel like paying $1000 for tires also i expected the auction to go much higher then it did, they were mint wheels but the guy had no feedback

as far as the decal, its was ricey, the meaning behind it turned out to be even more ricey, but my point was you don't have a "hellaflush" car(again a good thing) so the illest sticker didn't even belong there

I'm probably going to get 18" bbs's or something along those lines at some point, like I said I don't want to deal with 19 inch tires between the price, weight and the ride quality, on the other hand all that they will do is make my car slower and ride worse
