chances are we keep all our OEM parts also, so when we sell the car restoring everything back to stock isn't a problem? And all cars get modified from honda civics to corvettes and exotics, does modding a G35 really surprise you? this is kind of a pointless thread with nothing productive to share in my opinion, even for a 2003 post.

thats what most people do anyway . part out their ride then sell stock .

i dont see why anyone would feel modding your personal ride the way you like it .would be a problem.. especially for people on a "G" forum ..

but to each his own . everyones entitled their own opinion ..

p.s. there are people who look to buy cars fully modded .
saves them the trouble of modding it themselves ..

i know of at least 3 people who bought fully modded G's .
cuz they loved the way they were decked out .

only thing i can see cheapening a car would be not taking care of /neglecting your ride ..

we obviously take great care of our rides ..

Looks are subjective. I'm looking for a better driving car.

go ahead pay more then, rather than upgrading what you got now.

I'm thinking an earlier S2000, which you know, is trading a little creature comfort for a better driving experience...at around the same cost too. I still like the G, but it's a pig. No amount of money I would sink into the G would make it drive any better.

I should probably just keep myself from buying an equivalent car so I can get into an NSX again sooner.

edit. I think KBB should add an option for ricers. That automatically deducts a percentage depending on the mod.
Ugh! I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

I just spent 20 mins reading an argument about who has the best tire 'hook up'. This thread is great.

Better driving car.... I had an S2k. Which shifts smoother, hugs the corner, redlines all day w/o burning a qt of oil. I think the S2k is a better driving car.

Actually, after I got the popping noises fixed, the G isn't that bad of a drive. The only problem now are the scratches and interior damage the idiots did to my car while they were fixing the problems.

I wouldn't redline my 6mt though.

I might have guessed some of you came from the Honda pasture and this was your first Nissan vehicle. The S2K is a cute car but doesn't come close to my previous '92 300ZXTT, not in handling or speed and definitely not in the fun factor either. I've come close with my mods to making my G handle almost as well after a few $$....
