Wait so let me get this right hammerhead. You have aftermarket wheels but dont consider it aftermarket because its the same size. Yet you go and make fun of people with bodykits and rims on their cars. Isnt that kind of contradicting yourself.

As for you comment about people talking about your tires. I think this qoutes it.

"Why you so mad bro"

This is all subjective, no matter how much you argue that it doesn't cheapen the car you can't change ppl's own opinion. The people talking **** about my leds sound like the noobs talking **** about all the aftermarket parts in this thread

as far as i'm concerned now aftermarket parts really are just an alternative to OEM parts you cannot afford, or are no longer available. I'm not going to buy nissan brake pads, when mine wear out because i can get something else for cheaper, but i'm not going to put on some massive red brakes just to look cool.

i apologize that my posts turned into rants, but ive just had so many bad experiences with aftermarket parts.

even when using the best quality parts, [ ie) nismo, trd, dinan, mazdaspeed -- over the last few projects ] , i just ended up realizing that buy the time i finished building a dinan m3 s3-r, i could have purchased an e92 m3 for much less, and it would a better vehicle in every possible category. add up all your parts plus the price of your car .. you easily could have had a fully loaded g37 by now.
So, if the aftermarket parts look better and go faster, you are saying that Nissan (or Infiniti in this case) would put those parts on from the factory?

Not to be rude, but what it seems like you are suggesting is that every G35 manufactured would be sold from the dealerships WITH turbochargers and bodykits. What does this mean? Higher price for a "stock" G35. Also, the car would appeal to a LOT less people because not everyone wants a turbocharger or a cool bodykit. I personally would love to turbo my car and throw on a bodykit. Some people just need a car to go from point A to point B. They can do this with a G35, turbo or not, but it would be less expensive to do so without the turbocharger. Less cost to buy.

Folks, this thread has stayed relatively on-topic over a long time, so it lives (and well done BTW ). However, I've cleared up some minor flaming - please keep opinions to the discussion, vs. the person posting the note.

Would you pay Kellybluebook value for this?

edit. I think KBB should add an option for ricers. That automatically deducts a percentage depending on the mod.

^^
take off all those parts and can be sold, then get kbb for it. Then use the funds for better looking parts.
