So i sell some OEM 18" rims and tires to a guy on the forum. The packages left my house, not a scratch on the rims and the tires are in very good condition. I live in Toronto. Dude is upset that he had to pay brokerage fees by UPS. of $50, dude wants me to pay it. HUH wassup with that?

Dude is also trying to tell me now that one of the rims are bent when i made sure that there were all ok before they left. And he wants back the full price of one rim and tir which is 225.

So 225+50=275 in total. When I made sure that they were all ok when they left. Sounds like he is trying to get some money back especially since he didnt hassle me for the price of the set. He gave me the full 900USD plus 200 shipping from Canada to USA.

What do you guys think?

That is what shipping insurance is for. He should have asked for that. Anyway, try to work something out. If the rim really is bent (ask for a pic), then remind him it was not your fault and that you will split the cost. Or something like that. Good luck!

 

I completely agree with previous poster, either go 50/50 or tell him to file with the shipping company.

Usually if it is a good customer we will help to our best ability, but if the damage was not done by us then we tell them to file a claim with the freight/shipping company.
