How hurt was the other driver? A T-bone in to the driver side of an old car like that can't be healthy.

Sorry to hear about that. With that much damage you are better off having it be totalled. It would never be the same after an accident like that. Hope you can get another G soon!

To answer a few of the questions:

The dents were there because the other driver’s momentum took him into a 180 spin which caught the drivers side of my car.

The other driver of the car has a fractured pelvis.

As far as the car being totaled, it’s been noted as totaled by the first adjuster, but we’ll see if the “second opinion” confirms the first analysis.
