Hey guys, I am really interested in purchasing a G35 Sedan 6mt at the end of this year. But, I have a couple of questions. When did they start making the G35X? Were there any major changes from 04-06? How hard is it to tap into the stock stereo system (can you replace the head unit with an aftermarket)?

1. G35X's do not come in 6MT (im pretty sure)
2. i think they have had the X since the G came out
3. new 05-06 have a newer styled interior than 03-04... if you get a 6MT in 05-06 i believe it comes with the rev-up motor 300hp (or 298 or something like that)
4. Yes you can change your stereo (lots of people go with Double Din)

1) The X - 04 is when it came out (I believe)

2) 04-06 changes - Yes, 04 has a different front end (headlights, hood, fenders, bumper cover), minor interior changes and tail lights.

3) Stereo - Yes if you buy the V35 dash kit. I have done installs in 04's and 05's.
