My suggestion is to stay away from this car. Not unless you are pretty mechanically competent to fix whatever broken and will break comes your way, now and in the future.

I will pass this motto on from our fellow Mercedes enthusiasts to you - the most expensive Mercedes you own is the cheapest you pay. In this case, an Infiniti.
LOL that's a first.

damn 160k miles....i dont know looks like WAYYYY to much mileage....at that high of mileage i would think maintance would be more expensive and repairs are likely to happen, id say save money and get something or another G w less mileage

My guess is that he can only afford the G35 because it is 8500 bucks. But honestly, I think it's a waste of money. As everyone has already said, 160k is a lot of miles. I would not even look at buying a car that had over 100k miles on it. Sounds like a desperate move to me. Cloth interior? Yuck... I didn't even know the G35 came in cloth. Burn marks and dents just top it off as the worst deal ever.

You'd be better off spending 8500 on a 2003 Corsica.

I'd be concerned with what will need to be replaced, i.e. altenator, AC compressor, starter motor, power steering pump, water pump. If you're trying to buy this G35 because all you can afford is $8500 for a car I wouldn't do it. Many people get into trouble buying used premium cars and not being able to pay for maintenance.
