Sup guys; you may or may not know about this meet already. I'm posting this here, because I am trying to help organize a Tri-State Caravan down to this meet.

Please coordinate with them, the more the merrier. It would be good to see some old faces too.





2008 University of Maryland Spring Meet
hosted by College Park Tuning

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (http://www.marthastable.org).

It sounds like they are going to get a hotel room saturday night so they can relax and go to the bars.

 

i might go just to see my mothers old restaurant right off of campus... I miss that place. anyone else down? I have a cousin still in MD who I wouldn't mind visiting.

it used to be called seoul restaurant. its been about 10+ years now since she sold it. there used to be an arcade next door, chinese takeout, greek restaurant, and a 7-11 in that little complex. have no idea what's there now. Last i heard, the restaurant got turned into a club/lounge?

 

I'm guessing you are talking about what is now The Mark, Lounge. Is it right on Rt. 1? Ratsies on the corner?

Anyway, COME TO THE MEET! The guys from G35NYC are getting hotels in the Marriot on campus. It's like 50 per person for the night. Not bad.

 

crap... I would have liked to come down, but I'm stuck working. And yeah, thats the restaurant... or lounge now. Man, do I miss that place. lots of childhood memories.
