I just bought the same RD that Diesel got. Bel Pro RX65.
This is the deal with this. Beltronics was bought out by Escort years ago. If you check www.radarbusters.com or radartest.com or any radar test site you will see the Bel Pro RX65 and the Escort 8500 x50 are the EXACT same RD. The difference is only in casing and packaging and also that the Bel model has voice alerts. The performance for both detectors are neck and neck in almost EVERY comparision. I caught the Bel brand new on ebay for about 240.00 and I am happy with it. It picks up cops well. I wish I bought this a long time ago.
