West Pointe/Bear Mtn Twisty Cruise
West Pointe/Bear Mtn Twisty Cruise
Dan, Drew, and I made good of the nice weather and went for a little cruise near West Pointe/Bear Mountain. I have co-workers with Bikes that go cruisin' around there and said there's a nice stretch on 218 that runs along the Hudson River, along the mountains that will give you a nice ear to ear smile...
Unfortunately, the road was closed due to the weather this time of year...
We still had fun on our spirited drive and here are some pix I took... Enjoy!

Wow...
I totally miss that road.
I'd always take rt. 17 and start from Ringwood. Make a quick stop at Harriman lake then take that twisty road until I hit PIP.
Thanks for making me homesick. jk... Cali's where it's at.

Don't gimme **** after we're done cause you're still sleeping at 10am when I called you...)Drew: How come all the picks are on the drive home?? lol...
Dizz... I lived in both Norcal/Socal. Moved out here for work...
Cali just has too many nice open roads. I'm still searching for roads like this out there... All the memories out there...
If you know of some nice cruising area around here, we can barter/exchange cruisin' routes for Cali... lol
Cool.. Count me in as well.. I hope to have mine by spring.. Ordered it already should get it sometime between March-May.. Depending on if they can find one coming in already they can route to me or if they have to wait for it to be built..
Dizz - I had a YZF R6.. hope to be picking up another one soon as well..
