You guys know all about this car. I just bought a 335i XDrive so my beloved G needs a new loving owner.

Long-winded version:

I bought my G from Passport Infiniti in Alexandria, VA with 10 miles on it. I had to have Blue Slate color, manual transmission, and navigation (I'm picky) so it took me a few months to locate this car. I religiously and painfully followed the break-in procedure and have never abused or raced the car. I have, however, taken brisk rides in it once in a while (running it to 7 grand in first and second gear, taking ramps fast, etc) - it's designed for it.

I used Castrol GTX 5-30 for the first 10000 miles then switched over to Mobile 1 5-30W. Changed oil every 3500 miles using Castrol then every 5000 miles using Mobile 1. I performed all oil changes myself and know first hand that all oil comes out, meaning there is absolutely 0 oil usage by the engine (the same couldn't be said of most other G35s) Other maintenance done are two air filter changes, one micro filter change, and manual inspection of brakes, belts, suspension components, etc (30k mile inspection - did it myself). I just changed the oil a few weeks ago so you have about 4800 miles to go before your first oil change.

I bought a second set of tires and wheels for the winter from day 1 so the stock wheels and tires only have ~15-18k miles of usage. The tires still have decent tread (~50%) left. These are not included in the sale price.

As far as imperfections, there are probably 2 or 3 easy-to-notice dings and a few more if you look very carefully. There is a small dent in the rear quarter panel, I was going to fix it for a few hundred bucks but I stopped noticing it the next day so I left it alone. I'd be happy to take the car into Dent Masters to get an estimate if you decide that you want to fix it after looking at the car. Other than that, the car is perfect. The car's been hand-washed all its life except for two cold days in the winter. The interior is also in perfect condition except for the mats but you expect that. No one has ever smoked or eaten in this car.

I'm usually pretty hard on used pricing, but this is definitely a fair deal. I'm really surprised that someone has not taken it yet.

 

The car is probably gone and sitting at a Carmax lot or been sold already by now. These cars don't sit long on the lots tho being 6mt sedans that is.
