honest answer seeked about G reliability

I think the issues you see on this board are a lot of postings by the folks who have had problems, and few by those who haven't many problems.
I have an 05 coupe AT with about 11,500 miles. The only problem I've had in the 14 months I've owned it is that I had to have the CD player replaced under warranty (twice). A clear bra has resulted in only a couple of very tiny rock chips. The OEM 19" tires look to have at least 50% of the tread left. I'm very happy so far.

I don't know if I would say the 2005's are any more reliable than 2004 or 2003. As the 2005's get older they have all the same problems. The only reoccurring bad problem that I see people have is the clutch problems, the rear-axle clicking problem, all that only occur on 6MT's. The 5AT tranny is VERY reliable. All years seem to be cursed with stupid things like CD-Player problems, small rattles, shows "E" when tank has 5 gallons left.... Nothing that will leave you on the side of the road, but annoying none the less...
