Are the Clear Corners "legal" in Cali. ? Espeically in So. Cal. ??

 

I live in PA so all I can tell you is the clear corners I believe are legal here but the bulbs you put in may not be. I took my car for inspection and while the clear corners themselves were ok, I had to change the bulbs back to orange to pass inspection.

 

The clear corners are technically illegal federally. DOT regulations say that the front reflectors on cars need to reflect amber. So changing the bulb won't affect that.

At least here in MI no one seems to notice that mine don't reflect the right color.

 

Cops here dont seem to care. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have blue bulbs

 

you will be fine as long as you dont put red or blue bulbs in

 

i hav white led's as my clear corners, they'd probably bust my ***** about it if i didnt live in nyc..they just dont care about that here

 

I think they are okay because I got my from the Infinite Dealer.

 

I don't believe there's a problem as long as you use
the amber bulb supplied with the clear sides. At least
I haven't had a sheriff ask me WTF are those....

 

Same here. Matter of fact the Trouper who pulled me over last month
commented, nice car as he checked out the CC's.

You're absolutely correct. The corners need to reflect amber to meet DOT requirements. Most cops have bigger concerns, but my a55hole brother-in-law (borough police) will pull over every one he sees. He only gives a warning unless they give him attitude, then he actually cites them. Either way, he makes them report back within 30 days to prove the lights were changed back to OEM. That's why I carry the ambers with me at all times.
