Service engine soon light after intake install??

i just installed the Pro-1 cai intake and now my service engine soon light is on. is that the same as a check engine light? does having the sensor flipped around( was on right side now on left side) have anythign to do with it?im going to pop the stock intake to see if it stays on. also i started the car with the sensor unpluged by accident, may that have somethign to do with it.

uhhhhh.... yeah, if you started it with the sensor unplugged that will cause it to set a code. Someone else did that on here, just disconnect the neg battery cable to reset the computer and you should be ok.

I think the other post was in Technical forum a few weeks ago.

I believe if you even have the bettary plugged in and unplug the MAS/MAF sensor, that will trip the light. The car may start without the MAS/MAF plugged in, but will stall since no air is sensed coming in. Do an ecu reset and you'll be all set.
