I think I better find the owners manual and research it. Thanks for the input guys.

FWIW... a little back ground on this ?
Part of the confusion stems from Infiniti/Nissan.
This washer was originally a shaped crush washer.
See *1 in the pic.... there is an install note for which direction to install against the pan.
It was mandatory to replace this type of washer each time;
after the initial crush it was prone to leakage.
Now, they use a flat solid copper washer, it's good for many times.
I just inspect it to make sure it's not scarred to badly or stretched & misshaped.
I keep a couple of spares on the shelf JIC.

I would just replace it for peace of mind. You can get it for free at most dealers when you buy OEM filter, or if they charge you for it, it's less than a dollar. To me, $1 per oil change is worth not worrying about oil leaks.
I guess I'm going to have to start replacing that washer. Sometimes I have a local shop do the change. I wonder if they have been changing the washer... hrm. I would assume so! I'm due for an oil change soon anyway so I'll just change it.
Just get a Fumoto drain valve and u don't have to worry about a washer. As for oil/filter. Mobil-1/OEM filter works fine. Just change ur oil every 3k miles. No need to spend $$$ on special oil and filters.
when I asked the service guy at my dealer for those "washer" because I was flushing transmisison/differential fluid he told me that they never change that washer...
From my technical material properties knowlege, once a metal part had substain any permanent deformation it's properties has changed, in our case the washer would gain in strenght but loose in maleability so it would be harder for him bend and properly seal. (for a easy test, try bend a metal rod and bring it back to a strait shape, it would be imposible because the bended part would gain in strenth)
Even knowing this, I re-used them last weekend because I could not find them in stores around here and I think the risk of leakage is still minimal. On my next drain I will definaltly change them.
BTW..sorry for my bad english..
