Re: 6MT Opinions

it's great. Totally different then the auto. I didn't test drive the 6spd either. I just knew I would enjoy it. If you enjoyed the auto, for sure you'll enjoy the 6spd. That's going off if you enjoy clutches too. I fall asleep with automatics and can't stand using the breaks constantly.

good luck on your decision

Re: 6MT Opinions

I bought mine without test driving the 6MT. I doubt many 6MT owners got to test drive one due the limited availibility of the cars. My dealer had orders for over 10 6MT's before they had any in stock. Good Luck!

Re: 6MT Opinions

I actually got to test drive a manual this weekend. I drove the automatic twice a month ago.

I loved the manual. It gave a distinctly different feel from the slush box tranny. Much more involving. Don;t get me wrong, the auto is great on this car. But this is coming from someone who grew up on manuals so I am biased.

Anyways, I placed a $500.00 deposit and placed an order for a Diamond Graphite with all options on the spot. The dealer estimated April-ish for the car to arrive. But I got a call from them later in the day from them telling me that there is an "extra" car coming in the first week of Feb. and I can take it if I want it. I took it of course. )

Re: 6MT Opinions

I have a 6MT. The transmission is smooth with short throw.

I had the same issue, when I ordered mine, there was none on the lot to test. Not wanting the automatic on a sports coupe, I ordered without a test ride.

Re: 6MT Opinions
