prasure plate has to be replaced:(
Went to the dealer yesterday because my clutch was squeeky.....they put it on the lift....checked it out and said that they need to put a new pressure plate and to do this they have to drop the tranny ...I don't want them too....Yes it is under warrenty....What would you guys do???? and is it bad to change the pressure plate?? will it effect anything else....will my clutch be the same?????
Also my brembos are starting to viabrate again and I got them resurfaced about 3 to 4 mounths ago... do they need resurfacing again or do I need to rebalance my wheels??? Thanks

well, I can help a bit with the vibration problem.
---------------------------------------------
Does it vibrate ONLY when you brake?
If yes, it's probably your discs brakes that are the problem, not the wheels.
---------------------------------------------
Does it vibrate when you drive without braking over 100 km/h ?
If yes it's probably your wheels that need balancing.
---------------------------------------------
About surfacing the brembo......the Brembo discs have big air vents throught them, that make a rather thin metal braking surface, that's why it's not recommend to "resurface" them because they get even thinner and then more prone to everheat and bend.
If you allready resurfaced them...I would seriously think twice about doing it again (anyway, they should allready be out of thickness specification.)
You may have a problem with one of the caliper that keep pressure on the pads creating exessive heat while you are driving.
Anyway, if you need new disc brake...stay away from the dealler he is going to rip your a$$ off, search around here there are good deal for new brembo discs.

Do everything that is covered under warranty because it is free, and they will give you a loaner when your car is being serviced. I don't see a disadvantage for warranty work. See if your rotors are covered under warranty because it seems like you have to do more maintenance on them than usual. Doesn't hurt to ask. Have someone check out the balance on your wheels and diagnos the problem right before fixing anything.
