G-COUPE WAY TOO AWESOME, I CAN'T BE HAPPIER.
Last night I was walking to my car "Desert platinum, 4 pcs aero kit, 18"s. It was raining lightly and my car was parked under a street light and is the only car there. It's been 3 months now and I still can't get over how absolutely awesome our coupe looks. I was saying to myself that a car that looks this amazing and drives so awesome cost me only $35K, unbelievable.
I would like to try to apply this feeling for other GT/sports cars costing within our price range that will give us this feeling at its first year of introduction.
New owners of:
(1) Nissan 300ZX twin turbo MSRP in 1990 $35,500.
It is faster than our coupe but only have 2 seats and only 16" rims.
(2) 1995 bmw M3 MSRP at $39,500 in 1995.
G-35 coupe's got more HP, bigger rims, zennon lights, twin exhaust and cd changers.
(3) 1993 Supra twin turbo MSRP at $39,850.
Faster than our coupe but interior way too cramp. Looks great but does not have that super car look like our G-coupe, IMO.
(4) 1993 Mazda RX-7 MSRP at $38,500.
Faster than our coupe but only a two seater, only 16" rims, gas guzzler.
These are the only four cars that I can think of at this point but if I were a new owner of them I can never get the feeling now that I have with our G-coupe, IMO, our coupe looks absolute awesome like a " Super-car " and its cheaper than all the other GT's. I guess what I'm really trying to get at is that our car gives us "Way more for our money", but don't tell Infiniti that.
Thanks for bearing with my emotional feelings toward our beloved G-coupe.

I agree .. I looked at M3 options wen looking into buying a car.. And you absolutely have to buy everything! It was 56k sticker price (base price 47.5k ) before I could match the stuff I had on the G with adding only the Premium Package. Plus the G is from Japan and I can uphold my Z tradition. =)

The S2000 gave me that feeling back in 2000 but now the G does it every day! I think the S misses my heavy foot but mom doesnt complain cause the miles are staying low now. Now if I could just find a way to keep the mileage on the G down..........

u mentioned smaller rims as a disadvantage. The Mclaren f1 only has 17 inchers. In terms of performance, oversized rims are basically extra rotational mass

I've had the pleasure of driving a new car just about every three yrs. b/c I get bored easily. I just finished my "tour of duty" with a 330i. It was a blast to drive and do mods on but I never had the same look back syndrome. There's something about this car - I can't put my finger on it but I've enjoyed every minute behind the wheel so far.

Yes, i did paid the same amout of money for 1990 300zxtt 10+ years ago and i love that car it's must faster than the G, but now i got the G35c 6mt and i'm falling in love all over again. But i still miss my old z sometime when i see some one drive pass by.
