So yes, yesterday the unexpected happened. I always park my car in front of my job. The street is not a very busy street at all. Today at around lunch time, someone hit my car and took off. My front bumper was torn like a piece of paper (literally), sidemarker shattered, fender badly dented and scraped, rim scratched, and side mirror also recieved some minor scratches. I will post pics later on. I gotta say though, for as much care I take of my car, I am pretty calm, and have managed to keep my cool way more than I thought. As I always look to the positive of things, at least I will get rid of all the rock chips on my front bumper. I'll keep you guys updated, as I filed a police report and a Detective from MDPD is going to contact me soon about my case.

Sorry to hear man...so common to hear of stories like yours of innocent owners being the victim of hit and run. What can you do? Nothing but to parking inside the lot, away from the busy streets. Highly doubt the det will be able to do anything for you except to file a police report, in which your premiums would still go up. sucks...good luck man

had this happen in the past to my Corvette which seemed to disintegrate (dang fiberglass)... It wasn't a pretty site to walk up to.
I hope the repair etc. goes well.
