03 G35 vs 05 350Z

Ok so my buddy has a 350Z that he kept on nagging me about how bad he would smoke my 03 G (at least by 8cars). He has an intake, modded exhaust, and he made his car about 300 to 500 lbs lighter, plus 19 forged wheels. Both my G and his Z are auto. So finally two days ago we went to the track and we took off, the first run he beat me by half a car. the rest of the 5 runs i ended up beating him by half a car and even up to 2 cars LOL...i know i know he must not know how to drive but at least made me happy that our G's are not to be underestimated modded or not
By the way his excuse is that he had some stuff in the trunk that was heavy LOL...this is coming from a guy that says he beats STI's and M3's LOL LOL LOL

Sorry, but your "buddy" is a moron.

Every 350Z owner (and I was one) knows that you don't stand a chance in a Z against either an STI or an M3 unless you've got FI or NO2.

And if he's modded as you state, he should have beat you by a fair margin each race--maybe by a car length or two if you ran up to 100mph or higher.

He's a poor driver and a liar.

But good for you for teaching him a lesson!

How in the heck could he lower the weight of his car by 500 lbs ?

Does he have no interior or body panels left on the car?

There is no way he's reduced the weight by even 300 pounds.

You know what i would love to know that too, supposely the wheels, exhaust, and other things he has changed has lighten up the car from 300 to 500 Lbs. On the real i dont care if its 800 Lbs, there is no way he could take on a M3 or STI (i always thought), especially when those two cars have ridicoulously embarrased me. With all of those mods we toped 150MPH and we were pretty closely matched ( duuhh same engine ), i cant wait to do a few mods i have pending and taking on him again, this time ill beat him by at least 8 cars LOL J/K

1. get a ztube/kn filter this week but don't tell him, haha.
2. then ask him to open his trunk and take the crap out yourself.
3. pwn him and laugh
4. laugh uncontrollably every time you see him
5. tell all your friends to laugh
6. tell his siblings to laugh

I was wondering the same thing. I could see stripping interior, no spare etc... but 300lbs to 500lbs. Yeah, OKAY! (sarcasm)
