$200ish to blow

I've got a little more cash than I expected to have right now, so I've decided to buy something for the G. I was thinking either a 5/16th plenum spacer or a stillen engine dampner and skyline door sills.

As for the engine dampner, does it really produce a noticable difference? I recall hearing some good things about this product before, but I'm still a little unsure.

As for the 5/16th plenum spacer I've heard it causes oil consumption issues. Would this be a problem for an 03?

If anyone could answer the questions I've posed and also offer an opinion as to which you'd purchase it would be great. Thanks.

engine damper in not neccesary IMHO and a waste of money

IMHO i say keep saving it up............but if you really want to blow it, then decide whether your going engine or cosmetics.........engine=spacer and cosmetics=door sills

It's more the plenum spacer vs the engine dampner. Sill would just go with the dampner because it's cheaper. Performance is my main focus.

does the engine create enough movement where it needs a damper? i know the guys with sr20det running high boost needs it for their 240's. didnt know a 350 applies too.

i wouldnt say its needs a damper. IMHO its just another thing to add on once youve run out of other (relatively cheap) mods

if youre going for performance then get the spacer if you want to get something now. other wise just save up for something else.

If you have a manual G35, I would go for the Rogue short shifter. I just placed on order - came out to 190 with shipping.

Do you think it's more worth it to go for the MREV2 instead of the spacer? If you have an 03, MD's site recommends that you get MREV2 without the spacer due to lean A/F concerns. Since he's got the non-revup engine, he can get the core credit back from MD, so it'll only end up costing ~$220, depending on the vendor.

you might want to read up on the spacer and MREV2... I read somthing about running lean but didnt really understand it cause i'm a n00b.

Your car = 03 .... = no rev-up.

I'm probably going with a motordyne spacer. As I recall the spacer just change the intake note a bit?
