VDC on or no?

Ok I dont need a thousand replies telling me to search the forum because I did and I read the manual. Just let me know if you guys drive with it on or off and why.

if u don't know the reason why vdc should be off, then u should leave it on.

++1 if youre unsure about what it does then its best to leave it alone..

oh and btw, the reasnos for having the vdc on/off you read in your manual are going to be different from the members' reasons

Why would you wanna leave it off?

The only ones who leave it off are usually the ones that are racing.

Cool

It is a double edged sword.....

It is very intrusive.....but could save your Azz.

It all depends on you...

Are you experienced in performance driving techniques and do you think you can drive better than the computer? Do you know how to control a slide and compensate for trailing throttle oversteer?

Being FI, it is almost impossible to drive with it on. Only time I have it on is in the rain.

I went to go get my tires changed and the guy at the shop said his VDC was on when he had a blowout. he would've been fine, but the VDC kept trying to correct for the tire. put his @$$ into a wall. i say OFF.

try to ride with VDC off.. because I still like to spin wheels going out of the corner... and, where I live, you never know when there will be a good chance

So i am still getting some mixed signals. I guess if I want to race or am shifting prettty hard then leave it off but for just driving around leave it on.

ok, if you know how to fishtail without crashing into a brick wall, then have fun, turn it off and learn a little. if you don't want to fishtail, or you want the computer to control your car, then leave it on. whatever your comfort level.

Is that along the same lines as a person who dies with their seatbelt on...?

I'm not 100% sure that the VDC put this guy into a wall. sounds to me like he panicked.
