It seems to me that the hardest part is to get the remote buttons and PCB in there. Cutting key to fit, etc is pretty simple. If anyone can provide the inside pic of the mazda remote, i can probably try to figure it out and do a DIY. I want to make sure its not too complicated to do before buying a $40 remote.

Hey DSI,
Can you ask your friend if the key from which he took the chip out of can be shaped to fit the new housing(After taking off the black plastic) instead of buying a blank Infiniti key and reshaping that. Or you have to buy a blank.
