Wow all this for keys. Just hire a midget to carry all your keys and stuff for you. He can lock/unlock doors and start the car while you wait. Midgets can be useful for other stuff too.

this has to be the best thread ever. so many highs and lows, you all cracked me up. i don't post a whole lot on here, mostly just read, but i felt compelled to join in the fun with everyone else. you're guys' excitement and enthusiasm is contagious, i love it. on the flip side i'm some the group who is skeptical about sending money, keys, and contact info to an unknown person in a foreign (well, canada) country. i'll wait for something to the US market before making any changes. best of luck to all the DYI'ers. i look forward to some pics.

cant someone just design a new plastic thing? haha.. that way we wouldnt have to cut circuit boards. i have no idea how much that would cost. but im almost 100% positive that if it were as simple as changing the plastic housing, there would definately be a market.

Quote: Ok.... I got the mailing address already...

Shipping address:

Peter P.
2927 Sycamore Street
Oakville Ontario
Canada
L6J 7H9

What he needs are the following:

1) One master key
2) One key fob (OEM remote)
3) $320 Canadian Dollar Money Order (That's including all parts, labour and shipping already)
4) Your contact info and return address (Name, phone number... in case he needs to call u)

Please give him at least one week but shouldn't be more than 2 weeks to work on your keys.
No programming needed from your end.

So if I show up with my oirgianl Key, could he do the work in a matter of half an hour? I'll be in Oakville end of november...?? Please advise

Just wondering if anybody has figured out how to do this like the candian guy did. I know accordfreak did this, but i would like it to look a little better than what he did.
