The VW remote diy is on page 15 of this thread. Almost step by step but pretty comprehensive. Seems pretty time consuming and detail oriented. My complements on you two who have done this. Those flip keys are awesome...

It does more than just being a large key with buttons... It doubles as a miny NUM CHUCK!!!!

Which key at home depot did you use? Do you have an exact model which works. Also I assume you opened up the mazda key fob and put one of the chips from your infiniti key in?
