That's the problem with tint. You get all sorts of people from different parts of the country saying that they've never been pulled over for dark tint. But if it happens to you, then you're SOL. You can't go up to the judge and say, "well other posters on g35driver.com said it would be ok...."

You've got me confused. Are you thinking that 23% tint is darker than 30%? Cause I was under the impression that a 23% tint means it blocks 23% of the light passing through, not that 23% means it blocks 77% and lets in 23% of light. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't understand what you said above...

With regard to tint . . . 23% is the % of light which is allowed to pass through.

go to your doctor and ask him to write out a statement stating you need window tint for a skin condition!

i have tints on my car in nj...but front tint is illegal here...so i had my doctor fill out a nj medical expemption for legal window tinting....and now there is not a damn thing a cop can ticket me for on tint....good luck

sorry 4got to add that over here u need 2 get the form from the inspection centers....and then you send it or bring it to your doctor...

im with her... my tint is dark and i have never had any problems with it.. the cop just wanted to mess with u.. bike cops are the worst... they LOVE messing with u, or ticketing you for bs reasons.
