clutch pedal sticking?

After I pull the clutch out it sticks (it seems to be disengaged at this point) and then pops 2 inches or so back to the regular position. Anyone ever had this, is this a big deal?

no weird noises. The car operates normally, but it just sticks a bit on the way out. Actually you can push it in to this point too. It's such a definitive stopping point for the clutch that I almost thought it was a "feature". You can push in the clutch very lightly and it will halt you here, and then push it on the rest of the way. Pulling it out is the same story. It pull sout to this poitn and then all the way.

You want to check the clutch pivot joint. My 03' was doing the same thing and I ignored it. Next thing I knew I was stranded with my pedal stuck to the floor.

It's not right. Take it in to the dealer and have it corrected.
