yes, you are too young. get a "kid" car like a civic, integra, or even rsx. at that age, it is best to start on a vehicle like that and then move on up. that is what i did, and i don't regret it.

Same here, but i cant speak a whole lot im only 19. I started off with a truck it usually good to start off with something that doesnt matter if you wreck. IMO i think you should start off with something maybe not as fast and learn how to drive a little bit before having them buy you a more expensive car.

start off with a cheap beater with less power. I had an old honda accord long ago.

G35 is too powerful and fast for a first car in my opinion.

Plus its RWD. Unless you take some driving classes (and im not talking behind the wheel) you are going to destroy yourself or someone else.

But of course if you're parents buy the car for you then, they know what they're doing right? lol

and

"Plus its RWD. Unless you take some driving classes (and im not talking behind the wheel) you are going to destroy yourself or someone else."

I say if your parents insist on getting it for you, they believe that you have enough responsiblilty, so i say TAKE IT!! MOST PEOPLE DONT EVEN GET A CAR AT THE AGE OF 17

Too much car for a beginner, IMHO. I would agree with the others and advise you start with a lower HP car and gain experience from there. And the insurance would probably be killer.

A g35c and a 17yo driver = asking for trouble.

R U Insured?

My first car was a Plymouth Turismo-->Nisssan 200SX--->Toyota Celica GTS---G 35 Coupe.
See the pattern?
I think that a G35 is too much power for an inexpierienced driver. You would look cool, get a lot of looks and mostr likely crash your car. I remember when i was your age and belive me, I would have crashed a G35 back then no problem.
Maybe a Civic, Lan Evo, or even an Eclipse. Trick it out and have fun.
Good Luck

i was in that same position and i chose a 91 celica over a new car just cuz i loved cars so much and i wouldnt b able to live with myself if i wrecked the G or EVO i was gonna get. Get a beater man those kids at the school parking lot will *uck up your car for having one. High school kids hate so much
