the G was my first car. just take it easy and don't go freaking streetracing, please. i was fine, and it definitely got me looks at school. people might get jealous but just take it was a compliment and be thankful for what you have. remember you are a lucky *** kid

Go for it... unless you know your a normal irresponsible teen like most.

Im 18 myself, and own a G35 coupe.

Why did I get it?

Because I know im responsible enough both financially and when it comes to safety.

And yes I do pay for my own car

On second thought, dont go for it.

Theres too many out there already, well atleast here in L.A

Get it? **** Yes!

Of course you should get a G if your parents will buy it. I'm not that much older that you at only 20, and it wasnt my first car (mine was a 72 camaro Z-28). But i would say that having that car in highschool would get you all kinds of poon! just enjoy bro!

please take scion Tc and prelude out and place them in the rice burner category...LOL. they defintely are nice little cars but not nice enough to be in the same category as the hummer and escalade...LOL I remember when I got my first car (heavily moded 2000 civic SI) i told my mom "of course I will never street race and I will never go fast and I will be responsible and I will take good care of it, I promise!" Was that the case? HELL NO, I had the intentions but didn't act on it once i had the car. Did it get me in trouble? Yes! (2 tickets and 1 accident) and countless near-hits. It was because of my inmaturity as well as my inexperience. Now at age 20, paying for my own car, I defintely love my car and take very good of it as well as being responsible. I don't know how I would've behaved with a G35C...but probably worse...If you need a car to get some poon and popularity points, then go ahead, I had enough girls on my nuts in HS with my SI...LOL

Get it if your parents are willing to get it for you. My first real car was an Acura TL type S when i was 17. I got my first TB g35c a year later and now i have my IP coupe

When you get your car, make sure don't street race.

I got 4 accidents in my first 3 years of driving, totalled 3 cars, and average 1 ticket a year for the first 6 years. Sometimes when I think back, I'm lucky I'm still in one piece.

i would suggest get something less expensive and less powerful to start. not to say u dont have the skills or anything, but u r only 17. get some driving experience under the belt first... we all know at that age, accident happen. u dont want to start off with a crazy insurance rate and then if anything happens to the G...ur insurance will be up ur azz the rest of ur life.

i had a 1997 civic when i was 16 and i kept that car till just recently (im 24). then i sold it to get my own G35 (2005). i dont regret at all..sure i didnt have a fancy car at that age, but i learned alot about driving (especially my civic was a manual..so thats where i learned it). still miss my civic tho, awsome car, never had a problem and AWSOME on gas.

goodluck w/ whatever car u get...take good care and be safe out there!
