hahaha yea right.. you say that now when some f*g comes next to you thinking hes hot s*** you will race him, and new G i hope and it probably will take the e46's i assume i dont think their going to keep it too much under the 08 m3 range, but regardless always cars to race its just whether or not you really want to or not bro. If you mention that theres no point to race because you think your gonna lose that just shows ur gonna race, but its ok i feel u. Sometimes you gotta do what you have to do just keep it as safe as possible.

my cousin got a new 06 black g35 couple days ago, so i really dont want to get the same color as him.
what other nice colors are there?
i like obsidian black, ivory, blue, or silver.
i want a color where even if i get scratches it doesn't show alot

 

What up man...If you have the opportunity get this car...I had a 02 maxima when i turned 17 and loved it...then mama dukes got me aan 06G35x cuz i blew the tranny in the max haha... If you are looking for a color that you wont really see scratches on i would def suggest getting either Diamond Graphite or Silver... Lighter colors are the way to go to not see scratches... I have a DG and IMO it's def the nicest color for a G next to Black

 

Every Forum site flames on kids because they get nice cars when they turn of age to drive... WHY? If his parents think he mature enough for a G35 then he deserves it! If his prents thought he was a dumbass his parents wouldnt be buying him a g35 anyways. Regardless of how rich or poor he his no parent would buy their kid an expensive car unless he deserved it.

I dont know how you guys could say a g35 w/ a 17yr old equals trouble. Its really not that fast. Granted the car will haul *** and when its doing 90mph it feels like you are doing 50. But any car will do 90 or a 100mph. Personally i would rather my 17y old drive a car that has great brakes, handles well and is just plain safe overall because god forbid he ever does get into trouble he has a better chance of surviving.

If he respects the car, appraciates its and deserves it, he should have it! Just appriciate your parents everyday for what they have done for you and be a great son. Work your a$$ off so you can go to a great college so your next car will be even hotter than a g35. Oh yeah and most importantly girls panties will be falling off all the time in that car LOL so stay single in high school and get a lot fo a$$ in that ride LOL!

Oh yeah one more thing... Of you decide to start modding t dont listen to any of your high school friends because they will rice it out. Listen to te guys on here for it.

Dont worry about keying it! Dont let what others "might" do control your life. Im only 23 so HIgh school wasnt that long ago. I had a really nice car in school and no one ever messed w/ it. Just park it in the last spot in the parking lot like I did. No one will go out of their way to key it and plus it makes easier to spot someone if they start going near it. Also if you go to a school that has nice cars anyways no one will really care.

Stay away from black it shows everything. The light silver would be your best bet. But get what you like. And make sure you keep it looking nice all the time!

I'm 16 and got my g35 as my first car as well. I'm sure just about everyone thought I was going to crash it or mess it up but its almost been a year and no fender benders or wrecks and surprisingly no tickets. It's all about your maturity level and how well you can handle your car. Have fun with it, I know have but definilty watch out for the haters that think you're the "spoiled rich kid", my car got egged by 20+ eggs and cost me a whole new paintjob .

 

"a lot" of people get higher end bmws, benzes, even bentleys for first cars.

its really a question of maturity, and teenagers often have judgement problems. of course, even a civic can be fatal (and is, often enough), but it becomes worse with faster/more sophisticated cars.

if your parents feel this is the right thing to do, then you and them deserve it, whatever the results.
