Yours would be like stock even if you do get on it down low. That was my point. As where the Stillen has a very stock like power band just increased ~40%. All the other centrifugal SC kits and turbo kits except for the Stillen have lag and then pull all the way to redline. The Stillen have amazing power down low through the mid range and then dies off up high.

If you are a 1/4 mile fan or do mostly freeway driving/racing the Vortech is a better choice. The Stillen is made to be an improvement on the stock engine. The numbers are deceiving. This kit has nothing on the peak numbers of the other kits but the instant power is not something to be ignored.

There is a guy up in Prescott (about an hour north of me) with a Vortech coupe. I want to go out driving with him one day for a little while and see where each style shines. That way I can post some real world driving results for both kits.

This might be a n00b question but, what wear and tear effects do superchargers have on your engine? For sake of example, let's say I put in a s/c and just drive to and from work everyday, never exceeding 4000 RPMs, would the wear and tear be the same as stock also never exceeding 4000 RPMs?

I would love to do that some time. You should come on the AZG35 drive we are doing on the 9th. Are you a member over there?
