$145 for installation

I ordered the rear splash guards and the oem lip. I called the dealership and they are charging $45 to install the splash guards and $100 for the lip. Is this too much? How hard is the rear guard to install?

The splash guards are super easy to install.

The most time consuming part is just taking off your wheels. You will have to drill a hole in your plastic too, but it's pretty much impossible to screw it up since you use the splash guard as a template for where to drill.

Save yourself the money and do it yourself.... unless you don't own a power drill. If you don't own a drill, you might want to even consider buying a cheap one, since the cost of labor for the install could be used to pay for the purchase of a tool that you'll have for a long time and will come in handy.

it registers the first word you put in (oem) which is too short. unfortunately in your case..."lip" is too short too

this has happened to me before as well

Whats the point of posting a reply if all you do is tell EVERYONE to search? That is a fair dealer price

if you were in california, i'd charge you 100 for installation because I find it very fun to install stuff on the G. Damn why do people pay so much when its so fun to work on it yourself and sweat a lil! LOL

I just wanted to know if the $145 was a fair deal for the install. Thanks for the responses. Advice on the search feature is welcomed (never knew there was one).
