custom drop

well today was fun..let me start off by saying i got the chance to actually see how this company makes there lowering springs, and i have to say..it was pretty cool..i took some pics along the way from the way the car sat stock.which was 22.5" front fender well to the ground and 24.5" on the rear..to the 2"drop on the front and 1.75" drop on the rear..this company"road magnet"located in roseville maryland off of rt40 made me custom lowering springs..which "keith"there lead installer and fabricator said he could make your springs any height you request..from start to finish..since i was there first g35 coupe they had ever done took about 6hrs due to the fact they had to custom mill the springs which you will see in the pics and install..Well the after effect i love the way the car rides now..soo much smoother around corners with practically no body lean what so ever..ride comfort is great..i would highly recommend these guys if your looking for a custom ride on your car..now for the pic's...

no camber adjustments were made..we checked the camber and believe it or not when the car sat at stock ride height is had postive camber so once the car was lowered it blanced it's self out..

to answer some of your questions..the springs are garunteed not to settle more than 1mm..in the maching process after the springs were made, they were heated to 650 degrees for about 30 mins to set the molcules in the metal..then after they cooled they were compressed under a weight load of 4000lbs to "settle" the springs..cost wise i would have to ask and let you all know...again thanks for the comments..any further questions feel free to ask..
