60k service for $1,110?? Plus fuel hose recall for 03-04
Ok so i just finished talking to the dealership Discover Infiniti in Kearny Mesa for an oil change schedule and i asked about the 60k service and he gave me a preliminary price of about $1,110! Now im no expert but HOT DAMN thats expensive. I own an 03 coupe. If anyone has done there 60k service can you give me a ballpark price on how much you payed. Does 1100 sound right or am i getting ripped off? I rememeber going to another place where they do those quick oil changes and they said they would charge me about $375 for the 60k and if they needed to replace or fix anything it would go up from there. My moms been taking her chrylser town&country there for a long time so i kinda trust them. But i still cant believe $375 vs $1100..
P.S. The guy at discover infiniti also told me about a recall for the gas hoses on the 03-04 models...anyone know anything about this?

I say go to the dealership and get the fuel line recall taken care of. And since you're out of warranty (I'm assuming that you are) take it to a shop that you trust. At least that's what I would do, the only reason why I'm having the dealers sevice my car right now is so that they wouldn't have any reason to not to warranty my car.

Definitely find out what is involve and then either shop around or tell them what you don't want them to do. Its up to you, if there is stuff that costs extra and you can do yourself, then don't have them do it. I remember my 15k was like 300 or so, so 60k could be that much. After I got the bill for my 15k, i decided not to go in for those checkups.

Discover infiniti??? as in San Diego???? If so, i wouldn't go there if I was bleeding out my eyes. DON'T GET ANY SERVICE THERE!!!! They have a bad track record ( from my experience ) and have changed their name to throw you off. I think they are now kerney mesa infiniti...

Thats great.... When I went there I got the pariah treatment... they must have thought because I came in wearing shorts and a t shirt, I wasn't serious about buying TWO cars.... oh well, their loss....

I go to Hohen Infiniti in Carlsbad. When I bought my car I was in shorts, hat... flip flops... hadn't shaved in 3 days. They were awsome.
I was only in emails with the salesmen. The guy that sold me the car actually went in on his day off (yeah it is a sale).. and went to their storage lot to get the car I wanted. I did not get out of there until 2 hours after they closed on a Saturday because they had to remove all the white plastic coverings. They tinted(limo) my windows illegally dark and did not install my front plate mount They said "if you want the plates or windows fixed we will do for free whenever you want"
On top of that they gave me a price that the Discovery infiniti said there was no way they could match and Discovery's exact comments were "good luck with that I think he's lying to you" referring to the Hoehn salesmen. Needless to say I got the price I wanted with extended warranty. Damn Discovery people would not even match the price WITHOUT the extended warranty.
I live in San Diego as well but its worth the 30min drive to Carlsbad, at least for me.
Oh and when I took the car back to get the tint and detail done they gave me a loaner and did not charge me for gas.
I'm hoping it was not luck.
