california lemon law? window problem

Whats the deal with it as far as specifics? I have an 06 that i bought in march and its been back at the dealership too many times IMO for a brand new 40k car. Specifically ive taken it in for my driver side window atleast 4 times now. First the tried to diagonse it, sent out some "infiniti engineers" , replaced the whole window module in the door and then have kept making some sort of an attempt to fix it on the last few tries. The original problem was different and was resloved by the window module replacement ( ticking noise when rolling up or down) while now i find that when the car has been sitting in the sun for a while to the extent that it heats up i get this strange noise when rolling up and down... almost sounds like something is wound up and is release tension as it goes up and down but its fairly loud....thoughts?

I just took my car in for the passenger window... this is their second attempt after already replacing the window motor once, and I am taking it back 2 weeks later since the noise is louder....

I don't think this will classify the car into the lemon law though but I would file a formal complaint with infiniti just so you have some sort of documentation behind the scenes should you need to take it further. If anyone has the number chime in, I will be making my complaint at the end of the week if they do not fix it this time around.

Very upsetting and I know how you feel. Good luck to both of us!

Apparently the techinican compared my car to new cars on the lot and the noise it comparabe to the other cars. WTF ! im going in at 3pm to meet with the service manager and the technician so they can show me.

Im gonna get my next service at another dealership and try to get them to do something... if they are able to resolve the issue... oh man is my next conversation with my local dealership gonna be fun

well they have replaced the major components in my car motor, regulator... now it's fixed, but I'm almost positive it will come back since the components are shady!

BTW, my car is only a few months old!

yeah regulator is what the replaced in mine. hard to decribe the sound..no idea what an alien sound is like . basically imagine wire/thread wound up around something and attached to something hevy. when the wound up wire unwinds or winds up there is stress on the wire itself and what its wound around so it makes a noise like something is under stress... lol whats the point need to get a sound clip!
