Cold Cathode Clearance Strips Lights (CCFL) what's the deal?

I'm looking to install CCFL's on my 03 G35, can't find a DIY for the life of me...I found the 12" CCFL's that would fit the housing but do i just plug and play? Doesn't this thing need an adapter of some sort, etc. opening housing and alll.....does anyone have a DIY...advice?

save yourself a lot of trouble and just stick in a white wedge bulb in there such as piaa.

i think the ccfl tube mod is mainly for 06's which do not already have the clearance light..

good luck tho..

Actually, I thought the mod was mainly for 05 and earlier?

Anyways, here's the DIY - it's a sticky in the Interior/Exterior - Lighting sub-forum

I started a thread about this yesterday as well...

Have you seen CCFL done on an 06? I thought the only strip mod I've seen for the 06 was with some LEDs, not CCFL.
