Weird Paint Discoloration what to do?

Hello! I noticed recently that on my bumper there is a weird spot that looks as if something ate away at the clear coat. You can only see it from an angle, but it was pretty big, like the size of an orange. NO idea where it came from, maybe bird poop or something, any suggestions one what I can do to solve this, if anything?

I think it might be pretty hard to diagnose without actually seeing it. Infiniti/Nissan paint is not known for being the toughest so keep that in mind when caring for your G.
Sounds like your problem may have been from something like a bug splatter or bird poop? Try and wash those things off your car ASAP when they happen.
Try and buff it out with Meguiars Tech wax or if that doesn't work try a cleaner wax like Zaino. Clay Bar as a last resort. Honestly if you can't buff it out then don't spin your wheels at it, just bring it to the dealer, should be covered inder warranty.

Try some tar/tree sap remover first then run it through a wash or two if needed and wax on wax off your ride. See what happens. If it's really that big take it back to the dealer and make sure your paint is not orange peeling.

If your paint is discoloring or defective in some way I don't see why the warranty wouldn't cover it. If the paint damage is self inflicted in someway then that might be a different story.

paint discoloring from tree sap or tar is covered in the warranty? I never knew this... I guess I need to go back and read the warranty.

He never said it was caused by sap/tar. What i'm getting at is if the paint is spontaneously discoloring or is defecting from everyday wear & tear that Infiniti may cover it as a defect. Just a thought.
Even if it is a bug or tar should it discolor to the size of an orange? Is that acceptable on a new car? If the answers to those questions are "no" then it might be warranty time...
