Exclamation WHY do rims and tires cost so damn much for our cars?!

On my old eclipse i got a set of 18's with tires for around $1000 bucks and yes i do see that our tires are larger and our rims need to be wider int he back etc etc but damn $3000-$4000 for decent rims n tires is too much!! i really wanna change up my car but dam it jus seems like everything costs so much more..even jus an exhaust system.!!

yes i kno im complaining a lot but fck it!

Why Volks............

Because we like them for the way they look, quality,
light weight and mainly we like them............HREs
would cost several ks more and the same with IForged.

Maybe you just aren't looking hard enough. When I was looking, you can get a set of Work Emotion CR KAI which look decent, are lightweight, and the were about $2200 with tires. I opted for different rims, but that was my original choice.

haha I know how you feel I came from a 97 eclipse gsx. I fully built the motor with premium parts and put a 20g with dsmlink and costed me about 5 grand. Just to turbo a g is exceeding the 5 grand mark. HKS exhaust for the eclipse 500. HKS exhaust for the g over a grand easy. I guess thats the price you pay for having a higher end car.

For the record.. HRE's and IForged's aren't THAT light.. but they look nice.
