Just drove the '07 G35S Sedan, 6spd!!!

I work for Nissan North America, and just had the pleasure of driving the PT unit G sedan. Holy crap, this car is a dream!! First off, for those of us who have the current generation 6spd. and have experienced chattering and rattles, there is no more!!! The clutch and shifting feels like a german car! The car has a dual intake system that sounds amazing! the smooth ride and great handling is amazing!! The car definetely feels stronger, but more importantly, seems to have a more linear powerband. Redline is 7500 and the car stays strong to redline. The fit and finish/quality of the interior is unbelievable! This thing is gonna sell like crazy come November. Our regional advertising manager told me it cost $200k to hand build this PT unit!

Infiniti finally did it right with this new G. For those who are in the market for a new G, you will be very pleased.

So if its hand-built, doesn't that increase the interior workmanship quality(which you said was superior to our mass produced creaky interior?)...I doubt infiniti will hand-make each of the 07 G35s

I love how people in this forum always think they are right no matter what. The kid works for nissan north america and im sure he knows more than you.

Anyways, he said it was the PT (prototype if you didnt know) that cost 200K.....

the d0od actually made sense though, roles royce hand builds there cars...not infiniti. The point he was makin that maybe that PT version is SUPERIOR. He never spoke of the production model. Either way car is sick.
