Well I heard that resetting it makes the ecu take longer to learn so I didnt know if its a good idea or not.

If you unplugged the throttlebody (shouldn't have), then you will want to do the resets. If not, really no need unless you have tripped the SES light. In which case, you jacked something and will have to fix it anyway.

I did not disconnect the throttle body, or move the throttle plate, etc. during my MD 5/16" install. I did do the battery thing: with NEG already disconnected, turned the ignition to ON, held down brake pedal for 30-60 seconds. Waited a few minutes while I cleaned up the work area. Started it, drove it around several minutes while it fully warmed up. It ran like a bat out of hell..and guess what, the next day was running even better!
Excellent mod! (04 5AT)

i remember on my 05 maxima...any mod that was done i was told to reset the ecu, no matter if it was an intake, exhuast etc. I would assume this car it shold probably be the same. Supposidly the ECU's (on the maxima) would basicly go back to stock after a little while no matter what mod you did so TS reflash was the only answer, dont know about the G though.
