I love CYE. The only reason I clicked on this.
You guys have to realize not everyone with money knows **** about cars. I got a guy with a Pontiac Soltice that parks next to me every day at my office, and I am ashamed to admit I like the way that it looks, being made by the ugliest carmaker out there, but if I were some woman-man I might offer to trade him, especially if I saw him outrun some idiot in an EVO that didn't know how to drive, which is probably what happened in this case.

well you catch *any* car in the low rpm band and you can "jump" on them!
lol
try to get a jump on a M3 or EVO with them holding the tach at 5k - not gonna happen...
the power curves of the cars tell the whole story - if a (good) driver keeps the car in the powerband, then it all comes down to the numbers (in a straight line); and the numbers for an M3 and EVO are both higher than the G.

Our cars will keep up with the Evo and STi on the freeway and we will smoke srt-4s on the freeway. Those cars have lots of low end pull because of the turbos but their high end isnt that great. If you ever look at the 1/4 mile speeds of a srt-4 it will run like 13.5 seconds but it will only hit maybe 98MPH where we run 14.7 stock and hit 98 MPH...its because our top end is a hell of alot more powerful than theirs.........
^thats all from what i heard (the 1/4 mile times i have seen)

Stock i think the srt-4 runs like 14.1 or something close to that.
