Short Shifters: Fidanza or Revo any good?
I've got the RE and to tell you the truth, it's not that much different from the stocker. It even says it's only a 20% reduction in throw and its the stock height. If I had to do it again, I'd stay with the stocker and spend the money elsewhere. My2C.
Scooch that is awesome... That is exactly what I am looking for. I was not trying to cheap out like it looks like some people on here think. I know if there is a 50 model and a 180 model there has to be a reason for it. Just new to some of this stuff and want to learn as much as I can before I just throw something on the car.
No problem. I've done alot of custom work on american cars and I build custom bikes too. The one thing I try to adhere to is that any mod I make to a stock item needs to look factory and perform better. You can always spot a "Mickey Mouse rigging" and it usually causes more issues than it fixes. Besides, it has to look as good as it functions. Take your time, do your homework, talk to reputable mechanics that you trust. I have got a lot of good input from a couple guys at the dealership. Not the service manager, but the guys who are actually doing the work. They can tell you what they prefer to install and why. Since I do my own work, I like to know those type of things.
Good luck!
