I have a 03 G35 5AT and recently.. whenever i start my car and i when i start driving when my car reaches 2 RPM it makes this Swoosh noise or something similar the sound seems like its coming from under the hood but this only happens when i start my car. anyone experienced this b4?

 

have you recently changed the air filter?

 

It's probably your ABS system self testing.......normal.....
I believe it mentions this phenomenon in the owner's manual...

O is it really?? do i have nothing to worry about?? becuase it doesnt really do that noise every time just once in a while but im just worried rofl so.. i guess i have nothing to worry about now? or.. can i do something about it?

 

you can throw a turbo on it, so it makes that woosh sound everytime.

but no, you don't have to worry.

 

if you are accelerating slowly your ABS does a self test at 10mph i believe. You dont here it all the time cause sometimes you accelerate faster than other times. When your going faster the engine noise is louder than the brake test.....I think its either that or maybe your vacume hose has a hole in it.....?

If your hose has a hole in it the check engine light would come on cause your car would be ideling really rough....i think its the ABS

OKay Nismo_G i think you are right.. my engine light never came on.. so im thinking its just a ABS testing. so yeah i guess thats it =) nothing to worry about.. and for Jinubob81.. maybe i should throw one in eh ? maybe 2 too =)
